Almost 7 in London

Just a post and run today - guess what this is?  :)  I shot this in London on my last trip there, and always seems to shoot Big Ben when I am there.  It's one of the world's most iconic landmarks - easily recognizable to just about everyone.  Plus, it's just cool.

Single exposure at f/9, handheld at ISO 400, 65mm, -1EV, and Color Efex Pro

Nice shot, Jim. I've never really payed attention to the details of that tower. It is truly incredible.

You are going to have to change your title Jim - this is now the Elizabeth Tower in honor of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee. No matter the title, this is still a great shot.

Terrific shot Jim. I like that you got close. you don't normally see a close up of Big Ben and I really like this perspective as it brings out all the great details.

I can stare at this for hours on end, Jim! GREAT details here, my friend, what a truly captivating piece! One of the best shots of this iconic tower I've ever seen, good sir!

A superb shot of one of our great landmarks. It will always be 'Big Ben' to me despite the attempts to re-name it.
